The Fitness Master X Series Momentum Indoor Cycling Bike
The Fitness Master X Series Momentum Indoor Cycling Bike is a VERY beautiful indoor bike, equivalent to commercial bikes found at your local fitness club. The first time you see this exercise bike, you can’t help but see the qaulity of its constructtion. Even if you give it everything you have and go as fast as you can, this stationary bike won’t tremble in the least because of its quality construction and heavy metal frame.
It takes about 30 minutes to assemble the Fitness Master X Series Momentum and tighten everything up. The tension adjustment responds instantly to the slightest touch and the X Series Momentum is extremely quiet. Adjustments to the handlebar and seat are extremely easy to make. The handle bars mat be held in a couple of ways, from leaning forward and holding on for sprints to sitting straight during the cool-down and placing a newspaper on them to relax.
There is a place pn the pedals to attach your cycling shoes to keep your feet in place. There is an extra set of clips included with the bike for different types of cycling shoes.
Since the bike’s frame is of such solid construction, the X Series Momentum is a little heavier than other spinning bikes in it class. Moving it around requires listing the back and balancing it on the small movement wheels in the front. It’s best however that you find someone to help you if you need to move it or make sure you determine the most ideal place to assemble it at so you don’t have to move it later.
The Fitness Master X Series Momentum isn’t perfect and has a few minor annoyances. The saddle is just not extremely comfortable, particularly for prolonged routines. Nonetheless, it’s easy to substitute the seat with any stock bike seat of your choice. A gel seat may be a good alternative if you plan on riding the bike more than 20 minutes per day.
Depending on your training style, the fact that X Series Momentum doesn’t include a display might or might not be a bad thing. While most other types of exercise bikes come with LCD displays, a lot of hard-core riders don’t utilize them since the screen distracts them from concentrating on their training program. Since most outdoor bikes don’t have an LCD display (in fact I think none of them do for satefy reasons), you won’t want to get used to and come to depend on an external display to be able to gauge the progress of your routine.
Summary
Overall, the Fitness Master X Series Momentum Indoor Cycling Bike is a fantastic spinning bike for the money with most of the options that are standard on higher priced bikes.
