The DCP 8045D features a flatbed scanner with an optical scan resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi. This will ensure that your scanned images are accurate and clear. You are able to store the image on your computer or print it straight out. The software that comes in the box with the printer includes Scansoft PaperPort SE with OCR for Windows and PageManager for Mac computers.

The reduction/enlargement capability of the copier function of the Brother DCP 8045D is 25% – 400%, and it can operate as a stand alone copier. It will copy and sort your document at a speed of 21 copies per minute.
