Making a pitcher of long island iced tea…?
I don’t know what would be best to do. I’m making this for five people, and the recipe calls for equal parts of each liquor. Should I measure the alcohol by shots (1.5 ounces) or by cups (8 ounces) until I have a pitcher full?
I’ve decided to use lime juice rather than sweet and sour mix, and I’m thinking about using actual tea rather than cola, but I’m not sure.
Suggestions?
I would measure your pitcher and divide up the volume up by the how much of each liquor and mixers needed. Don’t forget to leave space for some ice.
I think you need to stick with the cola because that is going to add sweetness to the drink. Pre-sweetened and premixed iced tea drink might work but I would do a taste test in advance.
