Why are all holidays for Christmas booked in September and October, but no later!
Have Christmas holidays already started to drop in bookings? It would appear that people have stopped booking these Christmas holidays. Christmas time for the holiday’s district, sales reach a peak in September and October, then fall dramatically in November.
So what is the reason for these dramatic falls in holiday searches and bookings? There are some people the believe that Christmas should be booked in advance, and others that think it should be booked last minute, however now this isn’t happening. Make sure that if you want one of these holidays at Christmas time, to book well in advance, about 3 months should do it. Many don’t want to book holidays close to Christmas because it can be very stressful even just around Christmas time. These holidays are very stressful, adding this to the Christmas period can be even more so, not to mention aggravating.
So the best option is to look at these holidays around September and the latest October, then to just forget about it. Not only are these holidays difficult for someone to find, but they are very popular and get booked fast. Cuba holidays or Egypt holidays are very difficult to arrange towards Christmas time. The availability of these holidays is difficult and packed throughout the year, let alone when it comes to Christmas time.
Barbados and St Lucia have also been popular this year, people have been trying to book holidays to these places in September, only to find they are all booked up. Not many tour operators still have holidays to exotic locations, so make sure that you get looking as soon as possible to get those last remaining holidays. Some of the tour operators around, have cancelled holidays through the Christmas time because they haven’t got any more flights available.
Hopefully you have your Christmas holidays already booked, otherwise it could be very difficult to get one now, especially seeing as we are getting so close to the recession, and not to mention the deals were so good.
