On the CO2 tank for our “kegerator” how do you use the two reverse(?) washers on the regulator?
We’re trying to find out which way to spin each washer to regulate the PSI given to our keg. Which washers go in or out to change the PSI? Thank in advance… will give out a best answer.
I’m not 100% sure about your terminology, and if I’m wrong I’m sorry for wasting your time but…
The Regulator doesn’t regulate the pressure of the keg. It regulates the pressure going into the keg. The regulator should be off of the CO2 cylinder. Tighten clockwise to increase pressure, Loosen counter clockwise and bleed the lines to reduce pressure.
Here’s how a direct draft system should be hooked up:
CO2 cylinder, regulator, Polyethylene tubing going to the secondary regulators for each keg, pressure lines going into the keg, keg, outbound lines going from keg to the foam insulated lines containing your coolant supply and return lines, power booster, lines going to tap, tap.
