Preparations For An Unforgettable Wedding Day
Everyone prepares and reacts differently to the approach of their wedding with their life long sweetheart. Some people want to cry, others cannot stop biting on their finger nails, yet others laugh incessantly and the most absurd walk around their homes in their underwear with brown boots on their feet.
Noon time weddings are the best; they have the beef cooking over huge fires where you can smell them at a distance. The tables have colored tablecloths and flowers are everywhere filling the air with their perfume. The party is in the ranch garden so there is enough room for everyone to sit around and enjoy.
With the list in place, give or take a few more friend and family forgotten in the rush, it is time to find a church and reception hall. Day wedding or night wedding, summer, spring, inside or outside, these are the first decisions that have to be taken. Little by little the large things start to fall into place so the smaller details can be worked out.
A mans wedding band has to be chosen between one hundred mens wedding bands in the jewelry store and your boyfriend does not like the one that matches your wedding band and hell breaks loose. Brides maids and their companions have to get dresses and tuxedos. The bride will need her wedding dress which normally takes forever to make and fit to perfection. The groom has to buy his tuxedo; he cannot use a rental for his own wedding. Parents, nephews, children, everybody has to be fitted either for a dress or a tuxedo.
When things are finally starting to shape up, the church details are finished, the reception hall decoration is also finished and the brides maids have fitted their dresses, it is time to go back to the wedding band situation. It is back to the jewelry store to look at wedding bands for men. He finally finds what he wants and you say fine take whatever as long as you have a wedding band.
They kiss and the priests declares them hitched, the organ music escorts them into the garden where the fun finally begins. Their first dance is a slow dance accompanied by fiddles and guitar strings. They sway to the music and promise eternal love.
