Tent Picnic

What do you wear when you go hiking?
I am going Hiking and I am not sure what to wear? trainers, shorts ?
I know I am going to wear trainers of course…what else do I have to bring with?
We are going to have a Picnic on the mountain too, should I bring my Dome tent with too?
Hiking shoes – specificly made for hiking. You can find them at MC sports. They may be a little expensive but they will be worth it. Trust me. I wore my running shoes and I twisted my ankle then fell on my butt – and bruised it might I add :/
Pants depend on the weather. I usually just wear running shorts – dry fit.
A t-shirt works or if it is really hot a tank top. Bring a sweat shirt or jacket.
Wear two pairs of socks or really thick socks. You might get blisters.
Bug spray!
Don’t bring the tent if you aren’t staying the night on the mountain. Really. You don’t want extra weight. Bring lots of water, though. You will be wanting that. Do you have service up there? If you don’t bring a compass, matches, flashlight, and if you have like a hunting knife? If you get lost you might want all of that…
